“Squid Game” season 2 (Netflix)

“Squid Game” season 2 bagged a nomination at the 82nd Golden Globes even before it premiered on Dec. 26.

“Dec. 26th is within the calendar year as specified in our rules. Studios and distributors routinely supply content prior to air dates if they have late year releases. This is a normal industry practice,” Golden Globes replied to a query by Manila Bulletin

"Squid Game" season 2 triumphed when it premiered, bagging the No. 1 spot on Netflix in 92 countries and territories based on the streaming platform’s own weekly Global Top 10 list of the most watched shows and movies.

Lee Jung-jae attended the 82nd Golden Globes ceremony.
