The city government also launched the Tandang Sora Women’s Museum which aims to highlight the stories of Filipina women, their courage, talents, skills, and compassion.

The museum is set to officially open to the public in February.

Tandang Sora, revered as the “Mother of the Philippine Revolution,” played a vital role in Philippine history by providing care, food, and assistance to Katipuneros during the Philippine Revolution.

The commemoration serves as a reminder of the importance of history and the critical role women have played in building a free and progressive nation.
