As the New Year approaches, incidents like these can sometimes be unavoidable. That’s why we must exercise extra caution, especially with our appliances and gadgets, as well as fireworks),” Sandoval said.
Nandito lamang po kami para sa inyo (To those affected by the fire, rest assured that the city government is always ready to help and support you in your recovery. We are here for you),” she added.
According to the Malabon City Fire Station (MCFS), the fire was raised to the first alarm at around 2:36 p.m. and was extinguished by 3:14 p.m. The blaze burned six houses.
