Las Piñas SK Federation cited by National Youth Commission

The National Youth Commission (NYC) recognized the Las Piñas Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation as one of the Top 10 Outstanding SK Federations in the Philippines during the PANGANDPY: National Youth Federation Convention 2024.

Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the event aimed to empower young leaders and align their initiatives with the Philippine youth Development Plan (PYDP) 2023-2028.

She said the award recognizes exceptional efforts and contributions of the SK Federation in advancing youth-led advocacies aligned with the Ten Centers of Participation of the PYDP, resulting in tangible positive outcomes that addressed key social isssues of the city's youth.

The recognition also highlights the dedication of the Las Piñas SK Federation in creating meaningful change in the community and in helping promote a culture of active youth participation in governance.
