At least three members of the House "Young Guns" bloc have denied having any knowledge or involvement in the rumored fourth impeachment complaint against embattled Vice President Sara Duterte.

Assistant Majority Leaders Tingog Party-list Rep. Jude Acidre, Lanao del Sur 1st district Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong, and Zambales 1st district Rep. Jay Khonghun, gave separate denials even as reporters waited the whole day for such filing following rumors over the weekend.

As of this posting, however, there wasn't any.

The juicy part of the rumor was that the solon-endorsers--at least 10--would come from the majority bloc of the House of Representatives.

It should be noted that for the previous three impeachment complaints against the lady official, all the endorsers have come from the minority bloc.

A congressman's endorsement of an impeachment complaint legitimizes the document, at least at the level of the House secretary general--in this case, Reginald Velasco.

"Honestly po wala talaga. Kadarating ko lang kahapon from Bangkok kaya medyo out of the loop ako po," Acidre told reporters when asked if he knew about the filing of a fourth impeachment complaint.

(Honestly there is none. I just arrived home yesterday from Bangkok so I'm a bit out of the loop.)

Adiong, who recently lost his mother former Lanao del Sur governor Soraya Alonto Adiong, said of the alleged fourth impeachment: "No idea. Nasa Province pa ako for my mother’s wake.".

Khonghun gave an even shorter response about the impeachment rumor.

"Wala po 😂 (There is none)," he said, complete with a laughing emoji.

But do the Young Guns' remarks mean that a fourth impeachment complaint against the second highest-ranked official of the land isn't imminent? Not really.

Asked Monday afternoon if he had encountered feelers on the filing of a new complaint, Secretary General Velasco answered, "Waiting po, thanks."

Velasco is the top non-elected official in the House of Representatives.
