Always drink water

For the easiest way to have beautiful skin, the simplest step is to keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. By drinking lots of water, we are able to flush out any toxins inside our body that can cause irritation or pimples from forming. Staying hydrated also keeps the skin maintain softness, reduce dryness, and sometimes even prevent lines from forming.

Daily skincare routine

It’s ideal to have a daily skincare routine each day. Find a suitable cleanser for your skin type and learn to stick with it. Ideally, you’ll go through this routine twice daily. Once in the morning before you leave to do your daily tasks and again at night right before you go to bed. Daily cleansing helps prevent dirt from clogging up your pores which can lead to breakouts.

Get the right amount of sleep

To regain strength and allow our body to repair itself, it needs the proper amount of rest. Ideally, aim for at least seven to nine hours of sleep per night for your body to rejuvenate as much as it can. If you can’t sleep for long hours, find time in your schedule to take short naps to help keep your body clock consistent. Staying up too late will affect how your body repairs cells and could cause inflammation on your skin. It can also lead to eye bags forming under your eyelids.

Think of inner peace

Stay in your zen mode. Stress can help increase hormonal imbalances in the body that can lead to acne or psoriasis. Find a quiet activity like yoga, meditation, or writing in a daily journal to keep your thoughts clear of stress and bring yourself to a serene state of mind.
