Cong Pimentel starts the new year right, visits 103-year-old mom

There's no better way to start the new year than checking up on your beloved mother.

That's exactly what Surigao del Sur 2nd district Rep. Johnny Pimentel did based on his Facebook post over the weekend.

"LOOK! Representative Johnny T Pimentel visiting his 103-year-old mother Mama Feling and checking if she’s fine," read the particular post, which came with a photo of the mother and son.

"As part of their mother and son bond, Rep. Johnny is often at his Mama’s home," the post added.

Pimentel is a member of the National Unity Party (NUP), one of the largest and most respected political parties in the Philippines.
