Senior citizen, daughter hurt in van plunge

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A senior citizen and his daughter were injured after their van plunged off a cliff in Zamboanga Sibugay on Friday, Jan. 3.

Police identified the victim as 60-year-old Hersole Pasuquin and his daughter, 28-year-old Herjene.

Investigation said the victims were travelling on board their van when the engine failed as they were negotiating an ascending road.

The vehicle moved in reverse and fell off a cliff.

Hersole and Herjene sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital.
