John Estrada slams talk linking him to Barbie Imperial

John Estrada has come out to denounce talk about him and Barbie Imperial supposedly making sweet music.

In a social media post, the actor made clear he doesn't know Barbie on a personal level, maintaining he met her only once prior.

He also explained that although they both appeared on "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" at one point, they haven't really gotten to know each other as he is working under a different production unit as that of Barbie.

"Kung sino man ang nag simula nito e puede kang maging komedyante," he added.

The speculation about John and Barbie started not long ago, after the latter's character in "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" has been killed off rather unceremoniously.

Supposedly, this was done following the request of Richard Gutierrez, Barbie's current boyfriend, who is said to have aired annoyance over the burgeoning closeness between John and Barbie.

Not long after, another angle emerged.

Allegedly, Richard asked the powers that be to remove Barbie from "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" as he wanted her to be part of his new show "Incognito."
