Taguig City General Hospital opens its Outpatient Department


The Taguig City government opened the Taguig City General Hospital Outpatient Department on Jan. 30. 

This is the second city-run hospital in Taguig after the Taguig–Pateros District Hospital. 

Mayor Lani Cayetano led the opening of the outpatient department together with city officials and doctors.

Taguig City General Hospital Outpatient Department, located on C6 Road in Barangay Hagonoy, will provide the following services: 

Outpatient consultation 

• Internal Medicine

• Cardiology

• Pulmonology

• Surgery

• Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Pediatrics

Outpatient services 

• ECG

• Minor Surgery

• Spirometry

• Nebulization

Laboratory Services 

• Hematology

• Clinical Microscopy

• Microbiology

• Clinical Chemistry

Radiology Services

• Diagnostic X-Ray

• Ultrasound

• CT Scan

The city government said outpatient consultation is free. Residents will get a 40-percent discount in Outpatient Services, Laboratory Services and Radiology Services. 

Senior citizens and persons with disabilities will get an additional 20 percent discount. 

The city government said as of now, the Taguig City General Hospital Outpatient Department does not accept emergency cases. 

Emergency cases will be accepted at the hospital when other departments are opened.
