Laborer stabbed dead during drinking spree

BACOLOD CITY – A 39-year-old laborer was allegedly stabbed to death by a 19-year-old man during a drinking session with friends in Barangay Camandag, La Castellana, Negros Occidental on Thursday, Jan. 30.

Police Major Rhojn Darell Nigos, La Castellana police chief, said the victim started dancing when the  suspect suddenly stabbed him with a double bladed weapon.

The victim sustained stabs wounds in the arm and abdomen and was declared dead in a hospital.

The suspect fled and is now the subject of a manhunt. Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
