MS Europa, a German ship operated by Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, is the first cruise ship to visit Eastern Visayas this year.

It is on its fourth visit to the island since 2013.

Guests were welcomed not only by the fine white sand and pristine waters but the warmth of Filipino hospitality with a dance performance from Taberna National High School.

They enjoyed swimming, snorkeling, and stand-up paddling while basking in the Sun and admiring the stunning view of the famous Kalanggaman shifting sandbar.

Prior to visiting Kalanggaman, the cruise ship visited Tagbilaran City, Bohol before heading to Boracay on Sunday, Feb. 2.
