'Tutok to Win' Representative and television host Sam Verzosa talks to one of the beneficiaries of SioMaynila food cart at a recent charity event.

Congressman and television host Sam Verzosa admitted that he might cancel the Valentine's Day celebration in exchange for the campaign season where he will run for Mayor of Manila.

"May Valentine's Day pa pala? Wala munang bakasyon. (I barely noticed that it's Valentine's Day. I'm here in the Philippines and won't be leaving until the elections. Our focus is on helping the people of Manila. No vacations for now)," Sam said when asked about his plans for Valentine's Day during a recent set visit for his charity program "Dear SV" on GMA Network.

Sam believes his girlfriend, actress Rhian Ramos, will understand the situation, adding that Rhian has always been supportive of his political journey in Manila.

Asked about surveys, Sam expressed his satisfaction as he continues to rise in the rankings.

(I'm happy with the survey results as they continue to show an upward trend for us. Whenever I visit the barangays, districts, and various areas, I see many people. They are eager for change and excited to meet me.)

(I believe the real survey happens at the grassroots level. What's important is that they see our sincere intentions on election day and our commitment to bringing positive change to Manila. I’m here for them. After 20 years as a businessman, I have helped many people and transformed many lives.)

During the set visit, Sam launched the KKK (Kalusugan, Kaalaman, Kabuhayan) program to provide health, knowledge, and livelihood benefits for the people of Manila.

Sam stated that SV medical vans will continue providing free medical care and check-ups for city residents.

The politician-television host has also provided scholarship grants for deserving students of Manila.

Sam also distributed 50 Siomaynila food carts and grocery packages for the poor.
