Beko names Alper Yıldırım as new Country Director in the Philippines

Beko, one of the leading home appliance brands from Europe, is proud to announce the appointment of Alper Yıldırım as the new country director for the Philippines. 

In his new role, Yıldırım will spearhead Beko’s strategic initiatives in the country, aiming to elevate the brand's position in the market. Before his appointment, Yıldırım served as the Country Director for Beko Vietnam since 2022. He reports directly to Zafer Üstüner, the CCO-Asia Pacific/CEO-Arcelik Hitachi. 

Yıldırım brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of driving operational growth, leveraging his 19-year tenure at Arcelik A.S., Beko's parent company. 

Yıldırım is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the Middle East Technical University in Turkey. He joined Arçelik in 2005 and initially served as a sales executive responsible for all of East and Southeast Asia, as well as Australia. During this time, he visited Manila several times to explore the Philippine market, which helped grow their OEM business and lay the foundation for the Beko launch.

Throughout his career, Yıldırım has transitioned into different roles across various parts of the world, allowing him to experience diverse cultures, products, and retail systems. After 15 years, he returned to Southeast Asia and had the opportunity to launch several brands of the Arçelik Group in different countries. In these roles, he provided essential information to help develop products tailored to each market he engaged with.

"It has been an exciting journey so far, and now that I will lead Beko in the Philippines, I aim to bring a new perspective and effective leadership that will help Beko reach more Filipino homes,” shared Yıldırım. 

“Our plans for Beko in the Philippines are to focus on driving growth, introducing innovative products, and strengthening the brand's position in the market. By understanding local consumer needs, we aim to provide high-quality home solutions that enhance everyday living," Yıldırım added. 

With its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability, Beko sets its sights on vigorous and healthy growth under Yildirim's capable leadership.
