Taxi driver nabbed for shabu, gun in Alabang

A taxi driver was arrested for possession of shabu and a gun in Barangay Alabang. Muntinlupa on Jan. 2

The suspect was identified as alias Esteban, 44  who was apprehended at around 9:40 p.m. by the Muntinlupa Police Intelligence Section at the old city terminal in Alabang based on a report of the presence of an armed individual in the area.

During the operation, authorities confiscated 100 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱680,000, a .38-caliber revolver and four live rounds of ammunition.

"This successful operation demonstrates our continued commitment to eliminating illegal drugs and removing unlicensed firearms from our communities. We will remain relentless in our efforts to ensure the safety of our citizens," said Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena, chief of the Southern Police District.
