Sarah Geronimo, Rico Blanco, ITZY usher in 2025 at 'NYE at the 5th' in BGC

Sarah Geronimo, Rico Blanco and K-pop girl group ITZY’s Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna ushered in 2025 in the Philippines with a spectacular show at the “NYE at the 5th” held on Dec. 31 at 5th Avenue in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig.

Also performing at the event were Juan Karlos and British duo Honne.

The Taguig City government presented the New Year’s Eve show together with Bonifacio Global City and Coke Studio.

According to BGC, a total of 134,720 people attended the New Year’s Eve event, highlighted by dazzling lights, music and a countdown.

“May we all be filled with blessings from the Lord, especially in the coming New Year. May we all be filled with hope, faith, and love,” said Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano.

BGC wrote, “A big thank you to all who joined us for this iconic event—your energy made it truly epic. Here’s to making 2025 even bigger and brighter! #NYEAtThe5th #BGCTaguigNYE2025.”

In 2023, K-pop group Red Velvet graced the event.
