In its weather forecast, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon, or "amihan," will affect extreme Northern Luzon, while the shear line will impact the eastern section of Central Luzon and the rest of Northern Luzon.

Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.

The shear line will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the Ilocos Region, the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley.

Batanes will have cloudy skies with rains caused by the northeast monsoon, PAGASA said.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

Palawan will also have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains or severe thunderstorms.
