P20-M shabu seized in Catbalogan City checkpoint

TACLOBAN CITY - Suspected shabu valued at over P20 million was seized in a checkpoint in Catbalogan City, Samar on Monday, Jan. 27.

Police nabbed three suspected drug couriers identified as Mark Balagot, Ace, and Manny, all from Libona, Bukidnon.

They were onboard a pickup truck when they were stopped in a checkpoint in Barangay New Mahayag.

Recovered from them were three kilos of shabu.

The suspects are detained at the Catbalogan City Jail and face cases for possession of illegal drugs.
