Drug suspect, cohort yield P2-M shabu in Pasig buy-bust

A drug suspect, tagged as a high-value individual (HVI) for his illegal drug activities, and his cohort were nabbed in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Pasig City Police in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City on Sunday, Jan. 26, the Eastern Police District (EPD) said.

The HVI was identified as "Ryan" while his accomplice was identified as "Andrea." Both are residents of Barangay Pinagbuhatan.

Based on the police report, the suspects' arrests led to the recovery of P2,040,000 worth of shabu.

Further investigation revealed that Ryan was arrested for the same offense on Aug. 10, 2022.

Despite this, he continued his illegal operations, according to several confidential police informants.

The suspects are detained at the Pasig CPS Custodial Facility and are facing illegal drugs charges, while the recovered pieces of evidence were brought to the EPD forensics laboratory for examination.
