Police Capt. Greeky Cayao, head of Police Station 8, identified the suspects as Lemuel, 32, of Silay City, Negros Occidental, and Dekralphs, 34, of Barangay Mansilingan here.
Cayao said the suspects refused to pay their bill after a drinking session and Lemuel allegedly threatened a female worker at gunpoint while his companion introduced themselves as CIDG officers.
The bar manager called for police assistance and the suspects were mobbed by irate customers for their behavior before the police arrived.
Recovered from one of the suspects was a pellet gun with magazine resembling a .45 caliber pistol.
The suspects were charged with usurpation of authority. Lemuel faces an additional case of grave threat and illegal possession of firearm in relation to the Commission on Elections gun ban.
Dekralphs was released from police custody after his case was subjected to a preliminary investigation, Cayao said.
