Honda unveils all-new Giorno+

New fashion scooter now available

Those looking to not just get around, but to get around in style, now have a new choice of scooter in the form of the Honda Giorno+. Unveiled by Honda Philippines, Inc., the No. 1 motorcycle manufacturer in the Philippines, the Giorno+ was designed with the fashion-forward Filipino customer in mind.

Giorno+ effortlessly blends modern classic design with exceptional performance and innovative features, making it the perfect fit for those who value both style and substance. The Giorno+ blends modern classic design with performance and features, creating a scooter with both elegance and functionality.

High tech features

The Giorno+ comes with a number of unique features to make it competitive in its segment. Despite its classic look, the headlight is already powered by LED lighting for brightness and energy-efficiency.

For ease of refueling, it comes with a touch-button fuel cover. This opens up a flap over the fuel nozzle on the front of the bike (no longer under the seat) so that the rider no longer has to dismount.

Another feature is its smart key system, which ties seamlessly with its push-to-start function. The system both reduces the likelihood of theft and adds convenience. It also comes with an anti-theft alarm and answer-back functionality.

Potent engine

Customized Giornos were present to show off the possibilities.

Powering the Giorno+ is a new 125cc engine. This advanced 4-Stroke, 4-Valve, SOHC, Liquid-Cooled unit comes with an eSP+ and Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) system to maximize both power delivery and fuel efficiency. It produces a maximum horsepower output of 8.49-kW at 8,750 rpm and maximum torque of 11.6-Nm at 5,250 rpm. It’s paired with an automatic transmission for easy use in heavy traffic or simply cruising.

Bringing it to a stop is a front disc brake with a Combi-Brake System (CBS). The CBS distributes braking force between the front and rear wheels with just one brake lever. It rides on front and rear tubeless tires.

Unique style

The Giorno+ comes in several color options to perfectly match a rider’s style. These include Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Pearl Jubilee White, Piquant Orange, and Virgin Beige. Adding to its style is a silver emblem on both sides of the body. It also comes with a brown seat cover and handle grip.

At its launch, Honda also introduced celebrity and style icon Alden Richards as the model’s endorser. Known for his confidence, versatility, and trendsetting style, Alden Richards perfectly embodies the essence of the all-new Giorno+.

“I’m beyond thrilled to be here as the new face of the all-new Giorno+, a product that truly captures the spirit of style, innovation, and freedom. There’s so much more to look forward to as we kick off this exciting journey together,” said Richards.

Available in all Honda 3S Shops nationwide starting February 1, 2025, the all-new Giorno+ comes at a suggested retail price of P101,900.00, offering exceptional value for a class that lasts. The public can experience the Giorno+ on February 15, with test ride events to feel its smooth power, effortless handling, and standout features in action.
