Girl, 3, dies after being trapped in burning QC home

A three-year-old girl was found dead after a fire broke out on Everlasting Street, Barangay Payatas, Quezon City, on Sunday, Jan. 26.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire started at around 11:13 p.m. and was extinguished within 30 minutes.

The BFP reported that the blaze completely destroyed three rooms on the second floor of the house. 

Authorities discovered the body of the child in one of the rooms.

In a report, the child’s aunt stated that the victim had been visiting her father and other relatives before the incident, as she had been living with her mother following her parents' separation.
