Alex Gonzaga suffers another miscarriage

Actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga has suffered another miscarriage, her third.

This was revealed by her husband, Lipa City Councilor Mikee Morada, in an interview with sister-in-law Toni Gonzaga.

According to Mikee, Alex's miscarriage was due to a blighted ovum.

Mikee then recalled the whole ordeal, starting with their first visits to the obstetrician-gynecologist.

“The second week, okay pa ‘yung ultrasound. Hanggang dun sa pangatlong linggo, sabi sa amin nung doctor, ‘Naku, wala na namang laman. Blighted ovum ulit.’”

The couple decided to visit another doctor to get another opinion on the matter.

“Pagdating sa ultrasound, merong bata sa loob. Naiyak ako noong narinig ko ‘yung heartbeat… Nalaman namin na mababa ‘yung heartbeat, na 65 lang. So the same day, pumunta kami sa ospital, triny namin habulin, baka ma-save pa ‘yung baby. Ginawa namin ang lahat. Ang sunod naming check-up was December 23… nakita na namin ang embryo and baby, wala na siya,” he shared.

According to Mikee, Alex broke down when they got home.

“Noong una, strong siya. Pero nung umuwi kami ng gabi, d’un siya nagbe-breakdown,” he said.

Mikee and Alex are still hopeful they would be blessed with a child in the near future.

In any case, he assured his wife, "Kahit anumang mangyari, biyayaan man tayo o hindi, tayong dalawa magkasama, okay lang."

Alex and Mikee started dating in 2016.

The couple tied the knot in 2020.
