Parañaque LGU to hold free "Kumpilang Bayan" on Feb. 22

The Parañaque City government will conduct a free “Kumpilang Bayan” (free confirmation) at The Cathedral of Parish of Saint Andrews in Barangay La Huerta on Feb. 22.

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said children aged 12 to 18 years old who have a baptismal certificate and are Parañaque residents are qualified to avail of the program.

Those who are interested must submit a Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) birth certificate, birth certificate with notification for confirmation, and PSA marriage contract of parents and must attend the seminar, catechism, and confession on Feb. 15.

Individuals who are 17 and 18 years old must submit three parish certificates of No Confirmation.

Olivarez said the program offers free confirmation fees, free requirements, free meals, and financial assistance.

He urged those interested to avail of the program to visit the Special Services Office on the 3rd floor of Parañaque City Hall Building, San Antonio Avenue, San Antonio Valley 1, Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City, from January 13 to 31.
