BACOLOD CITY – A 32-year-old farm caretaker was fatally shot in Purok Masulhay, Barangay Ma-ao, Bago City, Negros Occidental on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Police identified the victim as Potot.
Investigation said that the victim's cousin was shot by two persons, a few meters away from a motor shop, where the victim and his companion were having a drinking session.
The victim ran towards the suspects to confront them but he too was shot.
The suspects fled and the victim was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
