Kapamilya stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, collectively known as DonBelle, recently shared their thoughts on dealing with different personalities and the challenges of relationships.

During a recent press conference for their new series, "How to Spot a Red Flag," at the ABS-CBN compound in Quezon City, DonBelle talked about how important it is to understand that people are different. They also highlighted how communication helps build strong, healthy connections.

They shared personal stories that showed the challenges and rewards of building relationships with people from different backgrounds. They stressed the importance of patience and empathy.

"We're human and lahat naman tayo may red flags. Minsan nga hindi tayo aware na meron pala tayo nito. (We're human and we all have red flags. Sometimes we're not even aware that we have them)," Belle said.

Asked about the red flags in her life, Belle said: "Siguro online, like trolls and scammers. That's a red flag for me. They pretend to be other people.

"So don't believe everything you see online, especially if the person has no credibility. Be extra careful and click with caution as well," she said.

Donny agreed with Belle on her thoughts about spotting red flags.

"Tama naman yung sinabi ni Belle na lahat tayo may some form ng red flag. Wala namang perfect na tao. (Belle is right when she says that we all have some form of red flag. No one is perfect.)

"I see it more here in the show that before seeing the person as a flag, you have to understand that they went through a lot of stuff, which is why they got to that point.

"The red flag is everywhere, like workplaces. But it's important to surround yourself with people who will lift you," said Donny.

Belle believes that people should be cautious when setting boundaries with individuals who exhibit red flags. "If people have red flags and you're close to them, you can tell them."

She mentioned that she could forgive someone who has a red flag. "It's okay to forgive, but you have to set your boundaries. You have to be open when listening to people."

Belle and Donny discussed the warning signs that concerned them.

"Ang ayaw ko na red flag yung hindi nagsasabi ng totoo. Pet peeve ko yung sa pinto. Kaming dalawa ni Donny. Ayoko ng iniiwan na naka bukas ang pinto. Gusto ko sinasara. (I don't like people who don't tell the truth. My pet peeve is the door. Donny and I don't like leaving the door open. I like closing it)," Belle said.

Full of themselves. Ayoko ng mayabang at hindi niya iniisip yung ibang tao. (I don't like people who have no respect for others. Full of themselves. I don't like people who are arrogant and don't think about other people.)

“This time around, makakapagturo na naman kami ng bagong learnings sa audience namin. May mga tao na kapag mas minamahal mo sila, mas nakikita mo rin ang red flags nila. If you have that love for yourself as well, you’ll be able to spot the red flags that you don’t want,” shared Belle.

“Everyone has a red flag. It’s all about communication. As long as it’s not to the point that you’re hurting each other because that’s when it gets unhealthy. Belle and I talk about the types of red flags that we have so that we can go through them,” said Donny.

Featuring the coastal beauty of La Union, “How to Spot a Red Flag” revolves around the story of Cha (Belle), a free-spirited barista who falls victim to a catfishing incident involving two gorgeous-looking men, who also happen to be best friends - Matt (Donny) and JR (Jameson Blake).

When Matt and JR start showing mixed signals to Cha, is it still possible for her to fall in love when all three of them get entangled in an innocent love triangle?
