Police apprehend rape suspect

PAETE, Laguna – Police nabbed a rape suspect in Barangay 1, Lipa City, Batangas on Friday afternoon, Jan. 24.

The suspect was identified as Marlon, who is wanted for the crime in Paete town, Laguna province.

His warrant of arrest for seven counts of rape under Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code was issued by Siniloan, Laguna Regional Trial Court Branch 33 Judge Marlyn Reyes Agama.

The court recommended no bail for the suspect.

Marlon is under the custody of the Paete police. The suspect is among the most wanted persons in the Calabarzon region.
