The Partido sa Bagong Pilipino (PBP) Party-list, led by nominees lawyer Goyo Larrazabal and Beaver Lopez, has secured the 20th spot in Tangere’s latest 2025 Pre-Election Party-List Preferential Survey.

With a voter preference of 1.37 percent, this strong showing reflects the growing support for PBP’s mission to uplift rural communities, particularly in the Caraga region, and other underserved barangays across the country.

PBP considers barangays as not just administrative units, but the foundation of Filipino life.

"They are where families grow, communities unite, and progress begins. Yet, many barangays face challenges such as poor access to basic services, insufficient infrastructure, and limited representation," the party-list said in a statement.

"PBP is not just another name on the ballot -- it is a movement to empower barangays as the cornerstone of national progress," it added.

Under Larrazabal and Lopez, PBP is focused on delivering real solutions to real problems, starting with clean water access and basic health care services.

“Sa Bagong Pilipino, barangay ang panalo (For the New Filipino, the barangay is the winner),” the PBP Party-list emphasized as it laid out a vision for modern, thriving communities that leave no Filipino behind.

Larrazabal is a former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner, and brings decades of expertise in election law and governance.

On the other hand, Lopez, is former ABS-CBN International and TFC executive, who has experience in empowering global Filipino communities to drive sustainable infrastructure and livelihood programs for barangays.
