Malabon LGU issues traffic advisory for Paslit Festival 2025


The Malabon City government has released a traffic advisory and rerouting plan for the Paslit Festival 2025 and the processions of three different parishes scheduled on Sunday, Jan. 26.

The Iglesia Filipina Independiente-Diocese of Rizal and Pampanga and the Sto. Niño Pastoral Council will both begin their processions at 1 p.m.

The city government announced that the following roads will be closed to traffic during the processions:

  • C. Arellano
  • Sigwa St.
  • Gen. Luna Avenue
  • A. Bonifacio St.
  • A. Reyes
  • Gov. Pascual Avenue
  • Gen. Luna-Borja St.
  • Paez St.


Motorists traveling to Hulong Duhat from Gov. Pascual Avenue are advised to take the alternate route via A. Reyes St. – Damzon – Don Basilio – Hulo.

Meanwhile, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Parish will also conduct a procession at 1 p.m., passing through the following roads:

  • Gervacio St.
  • M. Blas
  • Don Basilio Blvd.
  • Women’s Club
  • A. Bonifacio
  • Gen. Luna


Residents heading to Dampalit from Gov. Pascual Avenue, the recommended route is via A. Reyes St. – Damzon – Don Basilio – Hulo.

The local government advised motorists to plan their trips accordingly to avoid delays and ensure a smooth flow of traffic during the festival.
