There appears to be tension between Kapamilya star Chie Filomeno and actress Dawn Chang.

This is after an old interview resurfaced where Dawn rekindled her bad experience with a fellow celebrity during an online show, "The Men's Room," with Stanley Chi and Anjo Yllana three months ago.

Dawn was asked about a celebrity she didn't get along with in the interview.

The actress stated that she could no longer remember. However, moments later, she shared a specific instance where she defended herself.

Dawn mentioned that she had a conflict with another actress during a dance rehearsal. She also noted that this actress said in an interview that she instigated the fight.

When asked about the identity of the other actress, Dawn declined to reveal her name. But she said that the initials of the actress are similar to Christy Fermin's name. Dawn mentioned that the other actress had previously argued with someone.

A netizen called the attention of Chie who answered Dawn's comments via X (formerly known as Twitter) on Jan. 24.

Chie commented: 'Oh bakit nahiya ka pa pangalanan ako@thedawnchang? (Oh, why are you even ashamed to name me?)

"About the rehearsal, that NEVER happened. At alam ng prod sa Showtime yun, actually yung staff sa showtime nagsabi sa akin about this kanina at nagulat din sila. Your mouth is full of lies talaga no? (And the Showtime production team knew about it; actually, the Showtime staff told me about this earlier, and they were also surprised. Your mouth is really full of lies, right?)

"Sige nga bakit ko muna hinila yung buhok? Balik ko sa’yo sinabi mo “Pinagtanggol ko lang sarili ko ah." (Okay, why did I pull your hair? I turned to you and you said, 'I was just defending myself.')

In a separate post, Chie encouraged Dawn to let go of the past and move forward.

"Naka move on na lahat. Tahimik na buhay ko, andoon pa din si ate mo Dawn. 2025 na, tumigil ka na kung hindi mo kaya mag name drop. Last ko na to," (Everything has moved on. My life is quiet, your sister Dawn is still there. It's 2025, stop if you can't name drop. This will be the last time I will make a comment about it).

Dawn also said in the same interview that she had already moved on from the incident. "But for fun, ibubulong ko sa inyo kung sino siya." (But for fun, I'll whisper to you who she is.) Then she whispered the name to Stanley and Janno.

Chie and Dawn rose to fame during their stints in “Pinoy Big Brother” and as members of GirlTrends on “It’s Showtime.”  Later they appeared in several Kapamilya series.
