Man arrested for threatening to shoot father with shotgun

BURDEOS, Quezon – Police apprehended a man for allegedly threatening to shoot his father with a shotgun on Thursday afternoon in Barangay Amot, this town.

Investigation said the suspect, Ericson Alarma, pointed a 12-gauge shotgun at his father Reynaldo during an altercation.

Reynaldo reported the incident to the police who proceeded to the suspect’s house in Barangay Poblacion.

However, the suspect was not there and police proceeded to Barangay Amot where he was arrested.

Ericson is detained at the police station here and faces cases for violating the election gun ban.
