The Parañaque City government provided financial loans to 85 beneficiaries of the “Tulong Pangkabuhayan” program after they completed livelihood training offered by the Parañaque Livelihood Resource Management Office (PLRMO).
Mayor Eric Olivarez said 78 of the beneficiaries received P10,000 each, while seven second-time recipients received P15,000 each.
Olivarez mentioned that the beneficiaries were residents from the city’s 16 barangays who took livelihood training to start their own businesses.
He said the program aims to uplift the standard of living of every resident by helping them in building their own business.
The cash provided to the beneficiaries will serve as their capital for any business they wish to start and is payable within one year.
Olivarez added that good payers would be eligible for another loan of P15,000.
