Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon and Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Endo Kazuya signed a grant contract on Jan. 23 for the purchase of the city’s mobile digital X-ray machine with AI (artificial intelligence) technology for tuberculosis detection.
“The grant—from the Japanese Embassy—for Muntinlupa's mobile digital X-ray machine with AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology is now in motion. Through this, mas mapapabilis ang TB detection para sa mga Muntinlupeño (TB detection will be faster for Muntinlupeños,” Biazon said.
Biazon and Endo signed the grant contract at the Japanese Embassy.

Under the grant contract, the Japanese Embassy will provide funding for the purchase of the portable chest X-ray machine for Muntinlupa.
As the recipient of the grant, the Muntinlupa City government will provide the Japanese Embassy with interim and project completion reports
