The Pasay City Health Office (CHO) on Thursday, January 23, started conducting free chest x-rays for residents aged 15 and above as part of its efforts to prevent the spread of tuberculosis.
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano announced that the free x-ray service will be available every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. from February to March 27 at designated areas on scheduled dates.
Residents who are suffering from coughing for two weeks or more, fever, chest and back pain, weight loss, or have been exposed to individuals with tuberculosis, diabetics, and senior citizens are encouraged to avail of the free service.
The free chest x-rays will be available at the following locations: Malibay Plaza; Villamor Airbase Health Center; MIA Health Center; Barangay 43 Basketball Court; Kalayaan Health Center; Doña Nena Health Center; Barangay 2, Cuyegkeng Health Center; Barangay 185, Maricaban ng San Pablo Health Center; and Doña Martha Super Health Center.
