Reunited: Artists, influencers who supported Robredo now join forces for Aquino’s Senate run


A dinner held for former senator Bam Aquino turned into a reunion of sorts as various artists and influencers who backed the 2022 presidential run of former vice president Leni Robredo once more volunteered for Aquino’s senatorial bid.

“Gising at mas handa na tayo ngayong 2025! LET’S DO THIS! Para sa Pilipino. Para sa Bayan (Awake and ready this 2025! Let’s do this! For the Filipino people. For the country)!,” Aquino captioned his post.
 

Among those who joined the gathering were actress Jolina Magdangal, singers Mark Escueta and Bayang Barrios, Niccolo Cosme, Mitch Valdes, Arman Ferrer, Ayrin Villamor, Moy Ortiz, AC Soriano, and comedian Alex Calleja.
 

Also present in the gathering were Pia Magalona, Arkin Magalona, Elmo Magalona, Nica del Rosario, Pinky Amador, Kerwin King, Tita Jegs, Jim Paredes, Elha Nympha, Jeli Mateo, and Chef Jeng Flores, among others.
 

Photos of the dinner were shared with most of the celebrities flashing Aquino’s signature hand sign.
 

Other celebrities have also endorsed the former senator’s bid. This includes Bodjie Pascua, Lance Oca, Mama Loi Villarama, and The Company's Moy Ortiz, Sweet Plantado Tiongson, OJ Mariano, and Teacher Annie Quintos.
 

Aquino has made it to the top 12 of the Pinasurvey Candidate Preference Survey for December, receiving a 37-percent probability of landing between the 6th and 13th spots.
 

The survey, conducted for three months, had 1,821 participants nationwide.
 

It was represented by region, urban-rural, age, gender, and income.
 

It had a margin of error of plus-minus 2.3 percent.
