For the new album, CIX will be presenting a new side of the group in music.
“Our new album ‘Thunder Fever’ is comparing love to natural phenomena such as lightning and thunder, and we are sharing more powerful sounds or electronic sounds musically. That is the general concept of this album,” said Hyunsuk.
Leader BX said the new album will be different.
“Even for the sound, we were going for the strong, very powerful sign but also we are adding some exciting like playful moments as well. So it is definitely something new that we are giving a shot,” said BX.
“Thunder Fever” is fronted by the main track “Thunder” along with four other songs: "Bad Moves," "Lovers or Enemies," "My Name is Shadow" and "My Everlasting Sun."
As for their goals for the new album, CIX members are hoping to get better results.
“We are back after a while so I hope our fans will enjoy this new album and obviously we hope we can set a better record with this album,” said Hyunsuk.
BX added, “With the title track and the new album, we want to show that we can also do new styles and new genres that we are given. We are ready to show the new side of CIX.”

2024
Besides releasing a single album in 2024, CIX also had a concert tour in South Korea, US and Russia.
“Personally, I think 2024 was a year to grow further as a vocalist. I went through different experiences last year and I think it really gave me the opportunity to grow even further as a vocalist last year,” he said.
He added, “As a group, I think, it was a time for reorganization and we were really gearing up for this new album and new era of CIX and we had a lot of discussions around it as well. So I think it was a time to really get ready for the new year.”
According to Younghee, “We released a single album last year and we went on tour and the concert. Then we were actually getting ready for a new album to be released later last year so toward the end of 2024 but we decided to give it a little more more work and preparation for it.”
“To really make it into an album that we are satisfied with, each of us got into more lessons and more practices so I think it was really a time for all of us to grow individually and as a group as artists,” he said.
2025
For 2025, Hyunsuk said he is “looking forward to filling this year with more healthy, happy memories with our fans.”
About the plan to have a tour this year, BX said, “Definitely it’s something that we are always preparing for and whenever we get the right chance, we are ready to face international fans and have another good time with them. “
