It was followed up with the opening of the first Supercharging Station on November 8, 2024 in adjacent mall, Uptown Mall. With the completion of its after-sales service support, new owners can now rest assured that their vehicles will be cared for after purchase. Tesla Philippines also started its first deliveries of the Model 3 this week, marking a significant step forward in electric vehicles ownership and sustainable development in the Philippines. All the facilities are operated directly by US-based Tesla.

The celebration of the facility’s completion was attended by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., lauding the company for investing in the Philippines and trusting the government’s forward-thinking policies and innovation drive.

In his speech, President Marcos pointed out that the Philippine’s infrastructure and policies support the industry and its aspiration for more utilization of Electric Vehicles (EVs).

“Tesla’s decision to invest in the Philippines is a recognition of our nation’s potential, underpinned by forward-thinking policies and a collective determination to innovate,” President Marcos said on Monday.

“As Tesla lays a groundwork, and as we invest in infrastructure and implement policies supporting the industry, competition will grow. Then, what may seem as aspirational today – half of the vehicles in our streets as EVs – will become attainable tomorrow,” he added.
