GAPAN CITY, Nueva Ecija – Police arrested a couple wanted for homicide in Barangay Bayanihan here on Monday, Jan. 20.

Police Col. Ferdinand Germino, Nueva Ecija police chief, said first to be arrested was a 54-year-old farmer shortly after 4 p.m.
The suspect’s warrant of arrest dated Nov. 22, 2024, was issued by the Gapan City Regional Trial Court Branch 34, with a recommended bail of P120,000.
His live-in partner, 42, was apprehended at 4:40 p.m. through the warrant issued by the same court and same amount of bail.
The suspects are under the custody of the Gapan City Police Station for proper documentation and legal disposition.
Germino said their campaign against wanted persons remains steadfast.
"These successful operations not only uphold justice but also send a strong message that those who commit crimes cannot evade the law. By doing so, we ensure that criminals are held accountable for their actions."
