The Pasay City government announced that business permit renewal in the city has been extended from Jan. 21 to Jan. 25 to give businesses not able to beat the Jan. 20 deadline to renew their permit.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano issued the order based on City Ordinance No. 6405 s. 2025.

Rubiano said the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) will continue to serve business owners in the city from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Double Dragon Plaza located at the Macapagal Blvd. corner EDSA Extension, Pasay City.

She said the BPLO will not impose any penalties, interest, and surcharge for business owners who will be renewing their permit on the said dates.

The mayor added the extension was made to give business owners, especially those experiencing financial difficulties, to continue with their business.

Rubiano said the BPLO can process at least 600 to 700 applications per day. Despite this, some business owners were not able to meet the Jan. 20 deadline.

She advised business owners that if they have any question on the extension of business permit renewal, they can visit the Business Permits & Licensing Office- Pasay City Facebook page or they may call 888-PASAY (72729) local 1246.
