P13.6-M shabu seized in drug sting


CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – Police killed a suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in the parking lot of a gas station in Barangay Turbina, this city, before dawn on Monday, Jan. 20.

The suspect sensed he was dealing with the police and fired at the posuer-buyer. Lawmen returned fire and killed the suspect.

Recovered from the suspect was shabu valued at P13.6 million. 

The suspect’s companions, high-value individuals Princess and Kevin, sustained bullet wounds and were arrested. 

Also recovered from the suspects were kush, firearms, ammunition, boodle money, four cellphones, and a Toyota Vios.

A six-year-old child was rescued and turned over to the Barangay Turbina women’s desk for temporary custody.

The injured suspects were brought to the hospital. The Regional Forensic Unit 4-A processed the crime scene for further evidence.
