Bianca Umali, star of Encantadia, serenading attendees with a nostalgic medley of Kitchie Nadal songs, Barbie Forteza, lead actress of Pulang Araw, energizing the room with her renditions of "Espresso" by Sabrina Carpenter and "You Belong with Me" by Taylor Swift—this was part of the Y2K vibe with which Ever Bilena (EB) welcomed the new year. 

 

Held at the Metrotent Convention Center, the Y2K-themed celebration “Hello 2K25!” was hosted by the dynamic duo of Betong Sumaya and Mika Reyes.

Denice Sy, EB’s chief sales and marketing officer, opened the program with an inspiring thanksgiving speech. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to every department and their leaders for their invaluable contributions. She teased exciting new product launches for the year, ending her speech with a touching reminder: “You are the heart and soul of Ever Bilena.”

Employees embraced the Y2K theme with flair during the “Mirror, Mirror” look-alike contest, dressing as their favorite early-2000s icons. The event also featured spectacular B-Pop Singing and Dance contests, where departments wowed the audience with creative and high-energy performances. Adding excitement to the stellar performances, Stages artist Dylan Menor graced the stage to announce the winners of the initial raffle draw.

In a touching moment, long-time service awardees were recognized for their dedication to the company, with employees celebrating milestones of 20, 25, and 30 years of service. EB’s COO, Silliman Sy, expressed his heartfelt gratitude, emphasizing, “Every year together is a blessing.”

Excitement filled the air as employees eagerly awaited the raffle draws. Prizes ranged from appliances and gift certificates to cash rewards, with one lucky employee taking home the grand prize of ₱50,000!

The evening concluded with a powerful message from EB founder, CEO, and chairman, Dioceldo Sy. He acknowledged the challenges of 2024 in an increasingly competitive beauty market but celebrated EB’s resilience and innovative spirit. “Ever Bilena stands the test of time and continues to lead the local market, thanks to the collaborative effort and dedication of every member of the EB family,” he declared, leaving the audience inspired and ready to take on 2025.
