Business operations related to the Geely brand within the Philippine market are now handled by Geely Motor Philippines Corp. (GMP), a newly formed subsidiary of Geely Auto International. This marks the transition of Geely Auto in the Philippines from its former model as a general distributor model to direct operations. GMP will now oversee all aspects of the Geely brand within the country including sales, marketing, customer service, and after-sales support. GMP says this action demonstrates its unwavering commitment to serving the evolving needs of Filipino consumers.

The adoption of a direct operation model brings several advantages. One such reason is to better understand and respond to the specific requirements of the Philippine market, and with this format can more closely align products and services with consumer expectations. This allows faster response to market changes thanks to the streamlined decision-making processes, allowing for more agile and efficient operations. 

One chance customers can expect is enhanced customer engagement through direct interaction, providing a more welcoming and personalized service experience. Superior quality service will be delivered by the company taking full control of the customer journey. Geely recognizes that the Philippine automotive market is experiencing a dynamic shift, with consumer demand rapidly evolving towards electric and intelligent vehicles. GMP will undergo a significant revitalization of its vehicle lineup in the first quarter of 2025 with plans to introduce more all-new vehicle models throughout 2025. This strategic expansion will encompass a diverse range of powertrains, including Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), Hybrids, and Internal Combustion Engines (ICE).

High value network standards

Under a direct operation model, Geely Motor Philippines will also establish a robust dealership network, ensuring a unified and elevated service experience for all customers. This strategy signifies their commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty by delivering consistent high value service across all touchpoints. By directly managing the dealership network, it will streamline the customer experience, allowing them to implement standardized service procedures, invest in advanced training programs for our service personnel, and ensure the availability of genuine parts and accessories.
