Electronics technician gunned down in Quezon

SAN ANTONIO, Quezon â€“ An electronics technician was ambushed while driving his motorcycle in Barangay Matipunso, this town, on Monday afternoon, Jan. 20, police said.

Police identified the victim as Rancel Villaflor Protacio.

Investigation said that the victim was driving his motorcycle when he was shot in front of a resort by an unidentified gunman.

Protacio sustained multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.

Five cartridge cases of unknown caliber were recovered in the crime scene.

A follow-up investigation is underway.
