Brazil’s all-female thrash metal band Nervosa to hold show in Manila

Nervosa, Brazil’s all-female thrash metal band, will be coming to Manila for their Asia-Pacific tour.

“Nervosa is considered an important reference in the female metal scene as well as in the thrash metal scene worldwide, being known for its compositions characterized by her own style,” according to Nervosa’s official website.

Founded in 2010 by guitarist Prika Amaral and former drummer Fernanda Terra, Nervosa–now composed of Amaral, guitarist Helena Kotina, bassist Hel Pyre, and drummer Gabriela Abud–was signed in 2012 by Austrian metal label Napalm Records.

They released their debut album “Victim of Yourself,” which was an unrelenting showcase of the band’s expertise in delivering fast-paced thrash metal musicianship and guttural, unholy rhythms stemming from a strong death metal influence.

The band will hold their “15 Years of Nervosa: Asia-Pacific Tour in Manila” on April 16 at the Skydome at SM City North EDSA.

Tickets to the show will go on sale on Jan. 25 via all SM Tickets outlets nationwide and smtickets.com.

VIP tickets with an official Meet n’ Greet opportunity (alongside priority entry to the venue) will be selling for P3,500, while General Admission tickets will be made available for P2,000.
