315 wanted persons nabbed in Western Visayas

ILOILO CITY – Three-hundred fifteen wanted persons were arrested in Western Visayas region from Jan. 1 to 15.

The Police Regional Office-6 said 43 were classified as most wanted persons and 272 were other wanted persons.

PRO-6 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky cited their arrests.

“These arrests are a manifestation of our relentless effort in pursuing the remaining wanted persons in the region,” he said.

“In these accomplishments, we sincerely recognize the support provided by the community that led to the location and arrest of these accused,” added Wanky.

The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office arrested 149, followed by the Iloilo Police Provincial Office with 62, Capiz Police Provincial Office with 30, Antique Police Provincial Office, 20; Bacolod City Police Office, 19; Iloilo City Police Office, 18; Aklan Police Provincial Office, 10; Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO), five, and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, two.
