No. 7 most wanted person in Muntinlupa arrested

A 48-year-old man, tagged by the police as the No. 7 most wanted person in Muntinlupa, was arrested on Jan. 16.

The Muntinlupa Police Warrant and Subpoena Unit conducted an operation and arrested alias Edwin in Barangay Poblacion.

He was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Philip Acosta Aguinaldo of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 207.

The warrant, issued on Jan. 15, stemmed from a case for possession of illegal drugs under Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)

Edwin was apprehended at his residence and did not resist. He was subjected to a medical examination at the Ospital ng Muntinlupa before being placed under the custody of the Muntinlupa Police Custodial and Detention Facility.
