Genesis signs with Capital1 Solar Spikers

The Capital1 Solar Spikers boosted their lineup with the acquisition of outside hitter Trisha Genesis for the ongoing Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.

The team announced the development in a social media post Friday, Jan. 17, welcoming the 24-year-old to the fold with a picture of the contract signing with team co-owners Milka and Mandy Romero.

“It’s official! Join us in welcoming Trisha Genesis to the Solar Spikers family,” the post read.

The 5-foot-7 Genesis was a former UAAP standout, having played with the Adamson Lady Falcons.

She also steered the Lady Falcons into winning the 2019 PVL Collegiate Conference, where she also won the Conference Most Valuable Player and First Best Outside Hitter.

Prior to joining the Solar Spikers, she suited up for the Akari Chargers in 2022.
