My look is an amalgamation of my greatest love—the color pink. I live and breathe joy as "the pink girl" in every place I grace. This look is made even more pink and beautiful with layered pearls reminiscent of Marie Antoinette, as well as textured tights that add depth to a classic base. Some call me coquette, some call me Lolita (the Japanese subculture), and while I adore both, I prefer to call it Reicore!
#MyStyleWeekend always involves city strolls, restaurant hopping, and pop-up/flea markets. Despite living in Quezon City, Makati has my heart (and wallet) on a chokehold. I often invite friends to join me at Salcedo or Legazpi Market, where we celebrate fashion, food, and friendship. We play dress-up like all the girls do, take pictures of each other with freshly picked bouquets, eat delicious food prepared by passionate vendors, and spontaneously explore Makati in search of whimsical pop-ups or coffee shops. Endings become sweet when I reflect on the life I love—not just through my camera roll but also in the vivid memories my mind immortalizes. Beautiful weekends are my greatest treasures, and I wish to spend the rest of my life seeking what I love and more.—Rei
I follow dopamine styling because it’s a form of mental health therapy for me. It helps me feel happier or, at the very least, grounded. I’m especially drawn to textures like suede, satin, fringe, beaded details, and ultra-soft cotton. When I’m not feeling like myself, I hold onto the fabric for comfort. I style myself based on my mood and the fabric I feel like wearing that day. I also love mixing things up with fun statement accessories like brooches—my ultimate lazy girl hack! If I’m not in the mood for jewelry, I just pin on a brooch and call it a look.
My #StyleWeekend outfits tend to lean into maximalism, as it’s my time to stand out—a contrast to my work style, where I need to blend into the background and stay ready for meetings or events. Lately, I’ve been enjoying Saturday markets, where I pick up fresh flowers to create beautiful arrangements. After that, I love cooking, catching up on reading, and watching movies. My weekends are truly reserved for me-time.—Maureen
My style is very eclectic. I think it’s because I have such a big personality that one single style can’t capture it. I base my outfit heavily on what I’m doing, who I’m with, and how I’m feeling that day. For my look, since I knew we were going to Salcedo Market and the surrounding flea markets, I wanted to match the aesthetic of the places—even though I’d never been there before. Most of the time, I lean into street style fashion, but I love mixing it up depending on the vibe.
My #StyleWeekend involves meeting friends, discovering new places to eat, taking pictures, and dressing up.—Nadja
I decided to go with an outfit inspired by silhouettes from the ’70s to ’80s for my look. I also wanted to accessorize my ’fit with beaded necklaces to give off that hippie vibe. People I know would usually call my style “something out of a Ghibli film,” so I guess let's go with that.
My #StyleWeekend starts with quality time with my dog. Being a recording artist, I also enjoy creating music and writing songs on my off days. In the morning, I check social media to see if any pop-ups are happening in town.—Carlo
