Man wanted for rape arrested in Las Piñas City

A 31-year-old man tagged by the police as the Top 4 wanted person for the first quarter of January was arrested by the Las Piñas City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section for rape charges during a police operation.
 
Las Piñas City Police chief Col. Sandro Tafalla identified the suspect as “Otep.” He was arrested at around 4 p.m. in Barangay Talon Dos, Las Piñas City.
 
Tafalla said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Victor Ramirez Aguba of the Las Piñas Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 255 on Dec. 26, 2024, with no bail recommended.

He said the suspect is now currently detained at the police custodial facility.
