P100,000 reward offered for suspects in fireman's murder

VIGAN CITY, Ilocos Sur – The family of a Bureau of Fire Protection member shot dead in this city last Dec. 29 has offered a P100,000 reward for information leading to the identification of the suspect and mastermind.

The offer came as police have yet to  make progress in the case of Senior Fire Officer 1 Anthony T. Manuel, 40, assigned to the BFP here.

Manuel was on his way to work  onboard a motorcycle when a man appeared and shot him in front of his house in Barangay Pantay Daya.

He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead from multiple bullet wounds.

Recovered from the crime scene were four empty shells and one fired bullet.
